Personal Settings

You can set and manage your personal information, change your account password, and view or manage the workspaces you’ve created or joined—ensuring data security and efficient account collaboration.

1. Setting Your Personal Profile

You can view or edit your OneSight account information under Settings > Personal Settings > Profile tab, including:

  • Avatar

  • Name

  • Email

  • Phone

  • WeChat

1.1 Changing Your Avatar

Steps: Click on the avatar image, select the file you want to upload, then click the Upload button.

⚠️ Note: If the upload fails, it may be because the image file is too large. Please try to use a smaller image.

1.2 Changing Your Name

Steps: When you hover your mouse over your name, an edit icon will appear. Click the icon to modify your name.

1.3 Linking / Updating Your Email

The email serves as the user's login account. A verified email can receive system notifications.

Steps:

  1. Click the Bind email / Change email button and enter your login password for security verification.

  2. Enter the email address and click Next.
    The system will send a verification email to the provided address.

  3. Within the 3-hour validity period, log in to your email and click the verification link to successfully link or update your email address.
    Once verified, the email will be successfully linked or changed.

1.4 Linking / Changing Your Phone Number

The phone number is used as the user's login account. A verified number can receive system messages.

Note: Only mobile numbers from Mainland China are supported.

Steps:

  1. Click the Bind mobile / Change mobile button, and enter your password for security verification.

  2. Enter your mobile number and click Get Verification Code.

  3. Enter the SMS verification code in the input field and click Apply.
    Your mobile number will then be successfully linked or changed.

1.5 Linking Your WeChat

After linking WeChat, you can use the QR code scanning method for quick login, receive system messages through WeChat, and handle post approvals.

Steps:

  1. Click on the Bind WeChat button and enter your password for security verification.

  2. Open WeChat and use the "Scan" feature to scan the QR code in the popup window to complete the linking process.

1.6 Personal Preferences Settings

  • Timezone: Click the dropdown list to set the time zone. This time zone will be used as the default time zone for scheduling posts. When using the OneSight product for the first time, the system will default to your browser’s time zone.

  • Language Translation: Click the dropdown list to set the language. Content in different languages (such as posts, comments, or messages) will be translated into the language you set.

2. Setting Your Password and Two-Factor Authentication

2.1 Changing Your Password

Your password must be between 8 to 32 characters in length and must include all three of the following:

  • At least one lowercase English letter

  • At least one uppercase English letter

  • At least one number

  1. Steps:
    Go to Settings > Personal Settings > Security, and modify the login password of your OneSight account.

  2. Enter your old password, new password, and confirm the new password, then click Confirm to complete the password change.

2.2 Setting up Two-Factor Authentication

Enable two-factor authentication to add an extra layer of security to your account.

When logging in using a password or verification code, you will be required to enter both the password and the verification code;

When logging in using "WeChat Scan", you will be required to enter your password after scanning the code for further verification.

Steps:

  1. Click the OFF button. On the Enable Two-Factor Authentication tab, enter your account password, then click Next.

  2. Select your preferred method to receive the verification code, then click Next.

  3. Enter the received verification code and click Enable to activate two-factor authentication.

Tip: The steps for disabling two-factor authentication are the same as enabling it.

3. Managing the Organizations You've Joined

You can view and manage the OneSight accounts you have created or joined by going to Settings > Personal Settings > Organization tab.

3.1 Editing Account Alias and Position

Users can set different aliases and positions for different accounts.

Steps: Click on the "..." in the action column - Edit. In the editing popup, enter the alias and position, then click Save.

3.2 Setting Default Login Account

For users who have joined multiple accounts, you can set one of the commonly used accounts as the default login account. This allows you to log in without selecting an account each time.

Steps: Click on the [...] in the action column - Set as default login. Once set successfully, a "Default Login" label will be displayed below the account name.

3.3 Quitting an Organization

You have the option to leave any OneSight account you have joined at your own discretion.

Steps: Click on the [...] in the action column - Quit organization. In the confirmation popup, click Quit.

❗️Note: If you are associated with only one OneSight account, you will not be allowed to leave it.

3.4 Deleting an Organization

Super Admin users can delete the OneSight account they created or joined.

Steps: Click on the [...] in the action column - Delete organization. In the confirmation popup, click Delete organization.

❗️Note: Users cannot delete their account if they have only one account.
