Real-Time Monitoring

The Real-Time Monitoring feature provides high-frequency data tracking for two core objects—Posts and Social Accounts—helping you stay on top of social media activity and respond promptly to any changes.

Supported Monitoring Targets and Metrics:

  • Post-Level Monitoring (Updated by the minute): Track key performance metrics in real time:

    • Post engagement

    • Post impressions

    • Post reach

    • Video Viewers

    • Posts Negative Feedback

  • Social Account-Level Monitoring (Updated by the minute): Stay updated on account-level dynamics:

    • Fans

    • New followers

    • Number of posts

Real-Time Alert Settings

You can configure custom alerts to stay informed of key changes instantly:

  • Set upper or lower threshold values for any selected metric

  • Once the threshold is triggered, the system will send real-time alert notifications, helping you respond quickly to viral trends or potential crises

From the left sidebar, go to Monitoring > Real-Time Monitor.

1. Create a New Monitoring Task

Create Post Monitoring

To set up a monitoring task specifically for posts, follow these steps:

Go to the "Real-Time Monitor Page," click +New monitoring task in the top-right corner of the Real-Time Monitor page.

  1. Select monitoring object (post):

    On the task creation page, choose Post as the monitoring object.

  2. Choose the post/video to monitor

    • Select from existing posts under your social account

    • choose from your publishing queue

  3. Set monitoring duration
    Select the desired duration (e.g., 24 hours, 48 hours, etc.).

  4. Select the metrics to monitor (multiple choices are allowed)
    Choose the data points you want to monitor (e.g., Post engagement-shares, Post reach, etc.), and define the alert thresholds if needed.

  5. Start Monitoring
    Click Start Monitoring to complete setup.

⚠️ Note: When creating a monitoring task for the first time, you must follow the OneSight account (i.e., subscribe to the service account).
After following, you will be able to receive real-time alert notifications via push notifications.

Create Social Account Monitoring

Steps:

  1. On the "Real-Time Monitor" page, click +New monitoring task in the top right corner.

  2. On the task creation page, select “Social Profile” as the monitoring target.

  3. Choose the social account to monitor — you can search or select from the dropdown list.

  4. Select a time range to monitor
    (e.g., from May 10, 2025, 00:25 to May 10, 2025, 12:26; accurate to the minute).

  5. Select the metrics you want to monitor (multiple selections supported), and set the corresponding thresholds.

  6. Once all settings are configured, click Start Monitoring to complete the setup.

2. View Monitoring Tasks

On the "Real-time Monitor" page, you can switch between the “Post Monitoring” and “Social Account Monitoring” tabs to view all monitoring tasks.

Filtering is supported by the following dimensions:

  • Platforms: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube

  • Monitoring Status: Monitoring, Monitoring completed

  • Keywords: Search by keywords in post content, account names, and more.

Viewing Post Monitoring Details

On the Real-Time Monitor - Post Monitoring page, you can centrally view all created post monitoring tasks.

  • If a monitoring task includes multiple monitored metrics, you can switch between them using the dropdown options within the task row to see the value changes during the monitoring period.

  • For more detailed data trends and analysis charts, click the View button on the right side of the task to enter the task details page for in-depth viewing and management.

Viewing Social Profile Monitoring Details

On the Real-Time Monitor - Profile Performance page, you can centrally view all created social account monitoring tasks.

For more detailed data trends and analysis charts, click the View button on the right side of the task to enter the task details page for in-depth viewing and management.

⚠️ Note: If a monitoring task includes multiple monitored metrics, not all data can be viewed directly in the monitoring list; you need to enter the details page to see the full information.

3. Delete Monitoring Tasks

If you have a large number of completed monitoring tasks, making it harder to find the ones you need, you can delete tasks that are no longer relevant to better organize and manage your task list.

Steps:

  1. Locate the monitoring task you want to delete in the task list.

  2. Click the Delete button at the bottom right of that task.

  3. A confirmation prompt will appear—confirm to delete the task.

⚠️ Note: Once a task is deleted, it cannot be recovered. Please proceed with caution.
