When you notice anomalies, spikes, or unusual sentiment shifts in data on the overview page or trend graphs, you can use the drill-down functionality to quickly pinpoint the root causes.

The Drill Down feature enables users to shift seamlessly from macro-level metrics to micro-level content, allowing for detailed investigation of specific trends or anomalies. Key capabilities include:
Trend Breakdown: Analyze changes in volume, sentiment, views, etc., for a selected time period in detail.
Content Focus: View all original content posted during that period, with support for further filtering and data export.
Author Tracing: Identify key accounts or active users who contributed to specific spikes or fluctuations.
AI-Powered Summaries: Automatically generate semantic summaries of the content to help users quickly understand the background and context of the event.
2. Typical Use Cases
Sudden Spikes or Drops in Trend Charts: Drill down to examine the underlying content and understand the causes of these changes.
Abnormal Sentiment on Specific Platforms/Countries/Keywords: Identify the specific discussions driving sentiment shifts.
Identifying Influential Content or Accounts: Spot the most impactful posts or users during key timeframes.

All charts in the topic dashboard support drill-down functionality. Simply hover over a chart component and click to explore deeper insights.
Example: Drill down into a peak point in the Mention Trend chart to view the specific content driving that spike.
4. Usage Recommendations
The Drill Down feature is suitable for quick root cause analysis when used alongside alert mechanisms during daily monitoring, as well as for retrospective reviews or case studies.
When abnormal volume occurs, it is recommended to first drill down from the "Mention Trend" chart, then cross-reference with the "Content Sentiment" chart for a comprehensive assessment.
The export function can be used to include drill-down data in monthly reports or hotspot event analysis materials.
