The Audience Portrait module in OneSight helps you gain a deeper understanding of the users interacting with your content, providing strong data support for crafting more precise content strategies and marketing plans.
Currently supported platforms: Facebook and X (formerly Twitter).
Analysis dimensions include:
Demographics of the audience: gender, age, country, city, language, constellation, etc.
Behavioral analysis of the audience: engagement time distribution, depth of engagement, engagement type, the most interactive audience, etc.
Exporting Reports: Supports exporting audience analysis reports in PDF format for easy archiving and sharing.
Go to the left-side navigation panel: Portrait > Audience Portrait
Tips: The Audience Portrait feature is a custom add-on. If you would like to enable this feature, please contact the OneSight Customer Success Team for support.
1. Creating an Audience Portrait
Steps:
On the "Audience Portrait" page, click the + New Task button at the top right corner.
Select the social account you want to analyze, set the analysis time period, and check the dimensions to be analyzed (you can choose Basic Audience Profile and/or Audience Behavior Preferences).
Click Confirm, and the system will automatically generate the analysis task.
Once the task is completed, you can view the detailed audience insights results.
2. Audience Portrait Details
All created analysis tasks can be viewed collectively on the "Audience Portrait" page. Click the View button next to any task to access the task detail page and view in-depth analysis results. On the detail page, you can explore both Audience Basic Portrait and Audience Behavior Preferences to gain a deeper understanding of user characteristics. This helps you precisely identify your target audience and optimize your content strategy accordingly.
2.1 Audience basic portrait
The Audience Basic Portrait module analyzes the profiles of users who interacted with your social account’s content within a specified time range, helping you understand the structural characteristics of your target audience.
Gender: Shows the gender distribution of interacting users.
Age: Displays the age group distribution of interacting users, allowing identification of core age segments.
Country: Shows the countries of interacting users, ranked by interaction volume in descending order, helping to pinpoint core markets.
City: Displays the cities of interacting users, ranked by interaction volume, supporting region-specific content optimization.
Language: Shows the language distribution of interacting users, assisting in determining whether multilingual content coverage is needed.
Zodiac Signs: Displays the zodiac sign distribution of interacting users, serving as a reference for personalized content ideas (e.g., entertainment or playful marketing).
Only supported for Facebook.
2.2 Audience Behavior Preferences
The Audience Behavior Preferences module analyzes the profiles of users interacting with your social account’s content within a specified time range, helping you understand the behavioral characteristics of your target audience.
Engagement Time Distribution: Aggregates user interactions over the selected time period along a weekly timeline, visually displaying user activity during different time segments through trend charts.
Depth of Engagement: Categorizes user interactions into deep interactions and shallow interactions, showing their respective proportions.
Deep Interactions: Actions such as comments and shares, representing higher user engagement with the content.
Shallow Interactions: Lightweight interactions that express sentiment or attitude, such as likes (including various reactions like love, hug, laugh, wow, broken heart, angry, etc.).
Engagement Type: Displays proportions of different interaction types such as reactions, comments, and shares. This data helps evaluate the content’s appeal—whether it triggers discussion or mostly passive viewing.
The Most Interactive Audience: Lists users with the highest interaction counts by default, helping you identify the most active audience for targeted marketing or user relationship management.
