In OneSight Social Listening, you can view, edit, copy, share, or delete any listening topic you’ve created at any time. Below is a detailed explanation of each function:

1. Editing a Topic

  1. On the “Social Listening > Topics” page, locate the topic you want to edit.

  2. Click the [···] button on the right side of the topic.

  3. Select Edit to enter the topic configuration page.

  4. You can update keywords, filters, platform sources, language settings, and more.

  5. After saving the changes, the system will retrieve and display data based on the updated rules.

💡 Regularly optimize your keyword configuration to improve query relevance and data quality.

2. Copying a Topic

The “Copy” function is useful for:

  • Creating multiple topics with similar structures (e.g., for different countries or competitors)

  • Quickly reusing existing keyword logic or platform configurations

Steps to Copy a Topic:

  1. In the topic list, click the “···” button next to the topic you want to copy.

  2. Select Copy to open the topic configuration page.

  3. The system will automatically create a new topic with the same settings.

  4. You can customize the new topic’s name and make further edits as needed.

3. Deleting a Topic

To keep your workspace organized, you can delete any listening topic that is no longer in use.

Steps:

  1. Locate the target topic and click the [···] button on the right.

  2. Click Delete.

  3. A confirmation prompt will appear. Once confirmed, the topic will be deleted, and all associated data and configurations will be unrecoverable.

⚠️ Notes:

  • The deletion cannot be undone, so please proceed with caution.

  • Deleted topics will also be removed from any comparison views.

  • If the topic was shared, the sharing status will be canceled upon deletion.

Tips:

  • To delete multiple topics at once, select them using the checkboxes on the left and use the bulk actions at the top.

  • If you need to recover accidentally deleted data, view operation history, or migrate settings in bulk, please contact the OneSight Customer Success Team for assistance.

4. Sharing a Topic

In OneSight, you can quickly share existing listening topics with members in other groups, making it easier to jointly view analysis results and maintain consistent monitoring.

Steps:

  1. Go to Social Listening > Topics page.

  2. Find the topic you want to share and click the [···] button on the right.

  3. Click Share from the dropdown menu.

  4. A sharing window will pop up, where you can select the groups to share with.

  5. Click OK and members in the selected groups will be able to access the topic from their own group.

⚠️ Notes: Shared topics are view-only for the receiving group-they cannot modify the topic.

Usage Tips:

  • For brands working across markets or departments, you can configure topics by region or language and share them with the relevant owners accordingly.

  • If you are a team administrator, you can also centrally create template topics and distribute them in bulk across the workspace.

  • It is recommended that important topics be maintained by designated personnel to prevent accidental configuration changes.
