When a post fails to publish due to platform restrictions, permission issues, or non-compliant content, the system will automatically record the failure status. To help you quickly locate and handle failed posts, you can view and manage them through the following methods:

  • Filter Posts: You can filter posts by keyword, date range, or social account;

  • Post-related Actions: You can perform actions such as reposting or deleting records for failed posts.

From the left-hand menu, go to Publishing > Failed.

1. Filtering Posts

When a post fails to publish, you can quickly locate the relevant content through multi-dimensional filters, making it easier to troubleshoot and resolve the issue promptly.

The following filter dimensions are supported:

  • Keyword: Quickly focus on content that contains specific terms.

  • Time: Filter by custom time ranges or relative time (e.g., last 7 days, last 30 days).

  • Platform: Supports filtering across multiple platforms (e.g., X, Instagram, etc.).

  • Content Type: Filter by posts, stories, or reposts.

  • Media Type: Such as video, image, text, etc.

  • Created by: The person or account that created the post.

  • Content Tag: Filter by tags (Prerequisite: content must be manually tagged in advance).

2. Post-related Actions

For posts that failed to publish, the system supports the following actions:

  • Duplicate: Edit and publish the content again.

  • Delete: Remove the failed record to keep the interface clean.

  • Activity: Trace operation details to assist in troubleshooting.

  • Add/Delete Tags: Helps with future categorization and management.

3. Troubleshooting Publishing Failures

If your post fails to publish, please try the following troubleshooting steps:

  • Check whether the post content complies with platform guidelines (For details, refer to the “Posting Guidelines” in the top-right corner of the Publishing > Create page). If the content is non-compliant, please edit and try posting again.

  • Wait a few minutes, then attempt to repost the content.

  • Ensure your account is authorized. If the status shows “Authorization Failed,” please re-authorize your account.

  • Contact the Onesight support team for further assistance.
