Briefings allow you to receive regular updates (daily, weekly, or monthly) on key content and analysis for selected topics. Without needing to log in frequently, you can stay on top of brand sentiment, market trends, or competitor dynamics. Here's a complete guide to creating and managing briefings:
1. Creating a Brief
2.1 Accessing the Briefs Module
Click the “Briefs” module from the left navigation bar.
Click the + New Brief button at the top right corner to enter the setup interface.
2.2 Setting Basic Information
Brief Name: Create a custom name for easy identification (e.g., “Weekly Brand Volume Tracker”).
Select Topics: Choose up to 10 previously created listening topics to include in the briefing.
Brief Types:
Daily Brief
Weekly Brief (select the day(s) of the week to send)
Monthly Brief (select the date to send)
2.3 Configure Content & Format
Send Time: Set the delivery time (e.g., 9:00 AM daily);
Content Volume: Set the number of items displayed in each briefing (e.g., top 20 or 50 items);
Content Sorting: By default, content is sorted by engagement or popularity.
2.4 Adding Recipients
Enter the email addresses of the recipients (Note: currently, only internal emails are supported).
2.5 Saving and Enabling
After confirming the configuration, click Create now. The briefing will be sent automatically on the selected schedule.
2. Managing a Brief
You can manage all existing briefings centrally on the "Briefing List" page:
Functions | Descriptions |
Active / Paused | Toggle the switch to activate or temporarily disable a briefing task. |
Edit | Modify the briefing name, schedule, recipients, content volume, etc. |
Delete | Permanently remove the briefing; it will no longer be sent. |
3. Usage Suggestions
Configure dedicated briefings for different business units to improve information relevance and accountability.
Share briefing content across teams or archive it by forwarding the email or downloading it as PDF.
For critical scenarios (e.g., crisis monitoring, product launches), set up daily briefings to improve response speed.
For large volumes of content, consider weekly summary briefings for internal reporting or meetings.
