Profile Comparison

Profile Comparison is designed to support brand social media operations by enabling side-by-side comparisons of social accounts. Through comparison, brands can better understand competitors, monitor operational performance in real time, identify optimization opportunities, and precisely improve overall effectiveness.

  • Cross-platform comparison:
    Supports comparative analysis of social accounts or social account tags across different platforms.

  • Selection limit:
    Up to 10 social account pages or social account tags can be selected for comparison in a single analysis.

  • Time-period comparison:
    Supports comparing data for the same social account or social account tag across different time periods.

From the left-side menu, go to Monitoring > Profile Comparison

1. Creating a Profile Comparison

Steps:

  1. Entry: Navigate through the left-side menu toMonitoring > Profile Comparison.

  2. Data Selection:Before starting the comparison, select the data to be compared. The system supports the following selection methods:

    • Keyword search: Quickly locate target data using keywords.

    • Social accounts: Directly select the social accounts to be compared.

    • Social account tags: Select pre-configured social account tags.

  3. After completing the data selection, click the [Compare] button to enter the Social Account Comparison Details page.

  4. Set the Comparison Time Range: After entering the details page, you can set a comparison time range individually for a specific social account or social account tag based on your analysis needs. This allows for comparative analysis of data across different time periods.

Notes:

  • A maximum of 10 social accounts or social account tags can be selected for a single comparison.

  • Different comparison time ranges can be set individually for each social account or tag.

  • Comparison results are generated based on data from the selected time periods. Please ensure that the chosen time ranges are comparable.

2. Viewing Comparison Results

After creating a comparison, you can directly view the comparison details.
To review historical comparison data, return to the Profile Comparison Records page and check past comparison records in the comparison history list.

Social account comparison is conducted across nine core dimensions, supporting multi-dimensional analysis of different social accounts or social account tags. This helps users comprehensively evaluate overall performance and differences.

  • Comparison Summary

    Provides an aggregated overview of data within the selected time range. Results can be displayed as cumulative values or averages, including the following metrics:

    • Fans

    • Net Fans Growth

    • Contents

    • Engagements

    • Post Impressions

    • Reactions / Likes

    • Comments / Replies

    • Shares / Reposts

    • Video Views

This section helps users quickly understand the overall performance of each social account or social account tag during the selected period.

  • Fans Comparison

    • Fans Trend: Trend of the latest follower count for each social account on the last day of the selected time range.

    • Net Fans Growth Trend: Total net follower growth during the selected period. If follower loss exceeds new followers, the value will be negative (supports daily / weekly / monthly views).

    • Fans Distribution: Distribution of follower counts for each social account or social account tag (account group) within the selected time range.

    • Net Fans Growth Distribution: Distribution of net follower growth for each social account or social account tag (account group) within the selected time range.

  • Contents Comparison

    • Contents Trend: Number of posts published by each social account (supports daily / weekly / monthly views).

    • Contents Distribution: Distribution of content volume for each social account or social account tag (account group).

    • Contents Distribution(By Media Type): Breakdown of published content by content type (e.g., text, image, video).

  • Engagements Comparison

    • Engagements Trend: Trend of cumulative post interactions received by each social account or social account tag (account group) during the selected period (supports daily / weekly / monthly views).

    • Engagements Distribution: Distribution of cumulative interaction counts within the selected time range.

    • Engagements Distribution(By Media Type): Breakdown of interactions by type (e.g., likes, comments, shares).

  • Post Reach Comparison

    • Post Reach Trend: Trend of how many times content from each social account or social account tag (account group) was displayed to users during the selected period (supports daily / weekly / monthly views).

    • Post Reach Distribution: Distribution of cumulative post impressions within the selected time range.

  • Video Views Comparison

    • Video Views Trend: Trend of video view counts for each social account or social account tag (account group) during the selected period (supports daily / weekly / monthly views).

    • Video Views Distribution: Distribution of cumulative video views within the selected time range.

  • Paid Detection Comparison

    • Paid Detection(By Contents): Detection of paid promotion status for posts within the selected period.

    • Paid Detection(By Engagements): Detection of paid promotion status based on post interactions within the selected period.

  • Hashtag Comparison

    • Top 10 Hashtag(By Contents): Ranks topics based on how frequently they are used in posts, showing the top 10 most-used topics.

    • Top 10 Hashtag(By Engagements): Ranks topics based on the total interactions generated by posts containing the topic, highlighting the top 10 best-performing topics.

  • Best Content: Supports sorting posts in ascending or descending order by key metrics such as Most Engagements and Most Video Views, enabling quick identification of top-performing content.

🔔Tip

All charts in the Social Account Comparison Details page support drill-down interactions. Users can click on charts to view the corresponding detailed data.

3. Export Reports

  • Export Scheduled Reports:
    On the Social Account Comparison Details page, click the Scheduled Report button. In the pop-up Create Scheduled Report window, configure the required settings and click Confirm.

  • Export Reports:
    On the Social Account Comparison Details page, click the Export Report button. In the pop-up Export Report window, configure the required settings and click Confirm.

All created scheduled reports and exported reports can be viewed and managed in the Reports module. For more details, please refer to the Reports Documentation.
